Redemption following years of sexual abuse
Forgiveness doesn’t excuse terrible behavior, but it prevents horrendous actions from continuing to destroy your heart, mind, and peace. These are the words of Dr. Gregory Williams, who was sexually abused by his father for 12 years. Dr. Williams is on the administrative leadership team at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He’s also the author of Shattered by the Darkness: Putting the Pieces Back Together After Child Abuse, and he hosts the Breaking the Silence video podcast.
